Favorite Things | Recent Home Decor Finds

Here are some favorite products and shops I’ve been loving over the last couple of weeks.

Pink Placemats | I recently upgraded my dining room table to a large marble bistro style table and wanted some cute placements to protect the top from beverage rings and stains. More to come on what else we’ve got going on in the dining room, I’m so excited about the direction of it. Anyways these placements from Anthro have been such a fun pop of colors and easy to wash. They come in a few different colors and I honestly would use them all.

The Shade Shop | In December I took a little weekend trip to Charlottesville, VA to do some antiquing and I stumbled upon The Shade Shop which exclusively sells lamp shades of all sizes and incredible finials and other lighting accessories. The shades are definitely pricey but lamp shades make such an impact in a room it can be a great way to add a punch of color.

Fabritual Pillow Covers | I first found Fabritual fabrics on Etsy when I was looking for tablecloths for my wedding. I ended up purchasing yards of fabric from them and making my own tablecloths and still use them regularly two years later! Last year I purchased more fabric from them for custom roman shades.  I’m obsessed! So naturally when I wanted to update the pillow covers on my couch cushions I turned to Fabritual again. I planned to sew them myself but stumbled upon Fabritual’s Amazon shop where they sell pre-made pillow covers! I couldn’t believe it. I ordered a few and absolutely love the quality. Block print natural material pillow covers can get expensive fast but I found these to be pretty reasonably priced and great quality.

Zara Drawer Knobs | I’ve slowly been updating the hardware in my dated kitchen to make it a bit more my style and I needed knobs for a series of long narrow drawers. I had no idea that Zara home had cabinetry hardware but I loved the simplicity of these and the pop of blue. The quality is great so far and you get two for $10 which is an unreal deal!

Be Just | This was another Charlottesville store that I stopped into in December and fell in love with pretty much everything. I picked up some felted wool coasters and they’ve been such a great addition to my new marble dining table. They have some lovely Danish inspired home goods that I think would make everyday chores a little less mundane.
