10 Things | 01

I’ve been seeing this prompt circulating around and thought I’d give it a shot. Essentially it’s ten things I’ve been reading, cooking, buying, or just loving today.

Saucy Eggs all’Amatriciana in Cook This Book by Molly Baz

1). Skorts It sounds silly but with spring right around the corner I can’t wait to bust out my skorts. We started playing Pickleball this year and half the fun for me is putting on a cute outfit, hence skorts. I have this one from Outdoor Voices in white and grey.

2). Shonda Rhimes I’ve been binging the second season of Bridgerton with the rest of the world and Architectural Digest featured her New York apartment in their latest edition. Spoiler it has major Bridgerton vibes. Take a tour here.

3). Pickleball Definitely more to come on this subject but we’ve been loving Pickleball as a fun way to get outside and be active. The best part? The cute paddles! I have this one and also love the paddles from Recess.

4). Think Again I’ve been an Adam Grant fan for awhile. If you don’t know him he’s an organizational psychologist and in his book Think Again he helps readers build the strength and power to stay curious and re-think the questions we’re asking and the decisions we’re making. More to come on this.

5). Levels CGM I just wrapped up using the Levels continuous glucose monitor (CGM) after spending the last year learning about this powerful tool from Kelly Leveque. I definitely want to dedicate a post to my experience using a CGM and what I learned in my first 14 days wearing one.

6). Sound Tea Okay another Kelly Leveque find here. Our local bodega Shields Market sells this sweet and bubbly sugar free seltzer tea. Kelly also created her own flavor that tastes just like Sprite, it’s so good!

7). Saucy Eggs all’Amatriciana I made this dish from Cook This Book over the weekend and oh man it was so perfectly savory and salty! Might try adding diced tomatoes next time.

8). Nancy Meyers Interiors As a self proclaimed coastal grandmother this Instagram account made me smile.

9). The Daily Stoic After hearing about The Daily Stoic from many corners of the internet I ordered it last week. I was looking for something I could read in the morning and that would help sort of prompt my journaling for the day. I don’t always journal about what I read that day but it’s daily writings give me a focus for my day.

10). Full Focus Planner I’ve been using the Full Focus Planner for about a month now and still love the system they’ve created. It feels like a bullet journal but with more structure and prompts to keep you on track.
